[So I don't know, let's say for some reason Poe and his parents are hanging around where ever the resistance is based this month. Probably mission-related reasons. In any case, as soon as Poe catches sight of the Falcon, he's just going to be staring at her with the most impressed look his little eight-year-old face can muster.]

[ han is coming out of the falcon, wiping his hands off on some spare rag. he's been installing new warp drives and fixing up loose parts. they had gotten into a bit of a scuffle on the way home, and he had already heard a resounding i told you we should have taken a different route from leia, so he's looking forward to collecting some food and spending some time sulking on his own.

he nearly passes poe, but pauses at the jaw-dropping little boy staring at his ship, and han follows his line of sight before refocusing back on poe, eyebrows arched. ]
